Mid-State Technical College and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters welcomed families to the College's Wisconsin Rapids Campus this week for the fifth annual Rafters Meet-and-Greet and Cuts 4 Kids event. The community tradition combined player meet-and-greets with free haircuts to help students get ready for the new school year. Nearly 120 haircuts were provided to local children, as well as Rafters players and staff. Families enjoyed a variety of interactive activities throughout the event, collecting autographs
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. In observance of the federal holiday, Prevail Bank offices were closed, but employees remained actively engaged in their communities, volunteering their time, talents, and expertise with local organizations.
